Our Personal Story — And Why We Train This Way
Andy & Laura’s personal story behind Fit From Home
It started in 2020.
In our family room.
During COVID — with our kids climbing all over us.
The gyms were closed, but my in-person clients still wanted to train.
So we made a commitment.
I committed to designing at-home workouts that were just as effective as training in the gym — workouts that actually made people stronger, more capable, and pain-free.
We showed up and trained three times a week, no matter what.
What started as a necessity quickly became non-negotiable.
Even though we had always worked out, we had never fully followed our own expertly designed system — consistently, week after week.
And that’s when everything changed.
I’m Andy — a former nationally competitive gymnast for 14 years and a Certified Strength & Conditioning Coach for over 24 years.
For years, I chased strength through heavy lifting…
And paid for it with injuries.
Three shoulder surgeries later, I was still dealing with chronic pain — constant back tweaks, ankle issues, and feeling “old” in my body.
But after months of following Fit From Home consistently?
My shoulder stopped hurting.
My body felt strong, stable, and capable again.
Laura rebuilt her core and full-body strength after two pregnancies — and today her body is stronger and more resilient than ever.
And our clients were experiencing the same thing.
They loved how the workouts made them feel — strong, confident, and capable — and how their bodies looked and moved again.
That’s when we knew this wasn’t just workouts.
It was a method — for rebuilding bodies physically, mentally, and confidently… especially for real life, real schedules, and real bodies.
